ACADEMY AWARDS : OSCARS ridiculously disappointing
A quick note here cause I have to be in bed… well should have been sleeping as of 3 hours ago. I will expand on this later but the Academy Awards used to mean something and sadly, I will say have lost my respect!
Out of ALL these nominees, you are truly saying that THE HURT LOCKER was “best” movie of the year? This is beyond RIDICULOUS.
It is sad that the Academy Awards are tainted fixed and now mean nothing. There was something terribly WRONG about the wins this year! (and it has NOT been the first just the MOST obvious)
As great of a movie as The Hurt Locker was, the 6 Awards won by them were not rightfully given! I am a female and love woman making history but I am sorry, she was NOT the Best Director from the list of Nominees. Truly RIDICULOUS!
Something needs to be done! The Hurt Locker should NOT have been the big winner tonight. There was SO MUCH talent, there should have been a more even distribution. Who are the incompetent, paid-off, political money hungry hypocrites in the Academy Award counsel who made these decisions!?
p.s. Whether people agree or not, in the end visually AVATAR revolutionized film making from now on, 11 years of work, thought, the flow of the story line… The movie was spat on and not rightfully acknowledge this evening. (And I am not just focusing on BEST PICTURE award, just in general, AVATAR was highly robbed tonight as well as other films in the Best Picture category)
Sad I have lost sleep to watch this show… Goodnight, Early morning…
Tip # 423 Award Shows that consist of the same pathetic hypocritical workings as the Government should be avoided; Dont waste your time or allow them to have opinions on your dreams and talent! 😉
